A few hours ago, I played tennis for the first time in many years. I used to play regularly, and attained a level I might even describe as “not bad.” I signed up for a beginner-plus course at Wheaton Indoor Tennis. I wasn’t sure what level to restart at, so I picked the course running at the time that fit best with family life.
The facility is great: a few minute’s drive from home, courts and bubble in excellent condition. The lesson itself was fun, and the fellow players/students/humans friendly.
It was particularly horrible, then, to find that a car in the lot had been broken into during the lesson. It wasn’t mine, but it’ll serve as a reminder for me to keep making sure that I don’t leave gadgets and other valuables in the car.
